Natural Vanilla Store was established as a bulk vanilla supplier, specialist vanilla product manufacturer and international distributor after our founders spent several years living in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, as expatriates between 2003 to 2009.
While in Indonesia, they were heavily involved in agricultural trade and regularly attended agricultural auctions in the heart of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi.
As Indonesia is the world’s second largest producer of vanilla, this is where our founders were introduced to some of the main vanilla cultivators in the region.
In the later part of 2009, the founders returned home to Australia, where they established a warehouse and manufacturing facility specializing in producing high-quality vanilla products.

Our founders undertook extensive travel across the Indonesian archipelago to identify vanilla plantations who produced very high quality vanilla that was free of pesticides and grown organically with out the use artificial fertilizers.
